Disability

Sara Upstone is currently working with colleague Meg Jensen at Kingston University to develop a project that examines storytelling interventions in work with clients with disabilities in the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames. The project looks to compare expressive writing interventions and reading groups as methods to explore individual and communal identity. Sara Upstone will lead on the reading group sessions within the project, which features transglossic writings that have been selected for their capacity to promote empathetic reading practices and to ask questions about social and political issues.
